← Back to News and MediaNovember 15, 2022 – Five BaneCare centers are among the top 16% of U.S. skilled nursing facilities that have been recognized as a Best Nursing Home for 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report.
The homes earned Best Nursing Homes status by achieving a rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, for Short-Term Rehabilitation and/or Long-Term Care. U.S. News gives the designation of Best Nursing Home only to those homes that satisfy U.S. News’s assessment of the appropriate use of key services and consistent performance in quality measures.
“Our teams work tirelessly, especially amidst the pandemic, to provide exceptional care to our patients and residents, said Kevin Morris, president of BaneCare. “Receiving this recognition is only made possible by maintaining high patient care standards, along with a tremendous amount of teamwork. I appreciate each one of our BaneCare staff members whose efforts have made this success possible.”
Now in its 13th year, the U.S. News Best Nursing Homes ratings and profiles offer comprehensive information about quality of care, COVID-19 vaccination rates for residents and staff, flu and pneumonia vaccination rates, and infection control violations listed on the resident safety summary. For the first time this year, the Best Nursing Home Ratings feature measurements on weekend staffing and infections rates that led to hospitalizations.
