Kristen Reilly McHugh Returns to Bay Path
July 25, 2022– A Duxbury resident is returning to her roots with a fresh approach to rehabilitation and nursing care.
After over a year as director of operations for the company’s Northern and Western, MA region, Reilly McHugh is coming home to oversee the day-to-day operations of Bay Path Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Duxbury.
Reilly McHugh has nearly thirty years of experience as an administrator of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across Massachusetts. Just before taking the position in Northern and Western, MA, Reilly McHugh had been the administrator of John Scott Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Braintree, MA – leading her team to several consecutive years’ of 5-Star Surveys. Prior to her work in Braintree, Reilly McHugh served as administrator of the company’s centers in Duxbury and Brighton.
Reilly McHugh earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Stonehill College in healthcare management in 1991. At that time, she began working for Welch Senior Living. When Welch sold their skilled nursing centers to BaneCare in 2016, Reilly McHugh stayed on board.
In her previous roles as administrator and director of operations, Reilly-McHugh successfully led her team in delivering quality service, has offered strong staff leadership, and has been deeply involved in community development. This background has helped Reilly McHugh to make an easy transition back to Bay Path.
“I am grateful for my opportunities and the chance to work with different teams and in different centers across the state. When this opportunity came up and I was given a chance to be closer to home, I could not pass it up -- I am delighted to return to my roots and where my career as an Administrator began.”
Reilly McHugh has lived in Duxbury with her husband, two college-aged children since 1997.
